True Potential Early Learn reserves the right to terminate a child for the following reasons but not limited to
Failure to pay;
The program will appreciate at least two weeks’ written notice in advance when terminating and will give the same courtesy in advance. The two weeks will be paid in full whether or not your child is in attendance. Termination will not be accepted while parents are on vacation.
You are scheduled for the hours listed in your contract and rate agreement. If you drop off your child before or after these times, you will be charged a late or early fee. For example, if you write that your pick-up time is 6:00mp. your late fee will begin at 6:01 The late fees will be as follows: The program will charge $1.00 per every minute you are early or late. Please note that late drop does constitute late pickup. Late/Early fee payment is expected in cash at the time of pick up or drop off.
It is normal for children to have difficulty separating from parents, or to cry when being dropped off. Please be very brief for drop off. During this period the longer a parent departs the harder it gets for the child. A smile, cheerful goodbye, a kiss, and or reassuring words that you will be back are all that is needed until the child gets adjusted to the program. Please be brief also at pickup time. When dropping off or picking up please use the front side door unless there is a note that says we are at the back. Then is the only time you are to come to the backyard. I will do my utmost to send your child in clean diapers and expect the same from you when dropping off your child. I will only release a child to his or her parents or to someone on the blue card. Please put in writing if someone else is to pick up your child. That person will have to produce an identification card.
The program operates on two shifts. Shift # operates from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Shift # 2 operates from 6:01 PM to 6:59 AM. Your specific time will be outlined in our contract and rate agreement. I require at least one week’s notice if you are going to change enrollment hours. You are still responsible for whether or not your child attends or not attends the center. Please inform us if your child is sick and keeping his or her home or if the child will be late in attending.
True Potential Early Learn operates on an open-door policy. This means that you are always welcome to call or drop in to see your child/children at any time during the shift your child is on. Please note that an open door does not necessarily mean that the door will be left open. Our main goal at the program is ‘safety first
There is a written fire evacuation plan on the information board. There will be a fire drill at least twice per month. Children will be taught what to do in case there is a fire. No smoking is permitted on the premises.
The specific rate for each shift is outlined in the contract. Payment is payable in advance and is due no later than drop-off time on the first contract care day for each week unless there is another arrangement agreed upon by the program provider and the parent. If you go away on vacation payment is due before you leave. If it is my planned vacation time no payment is expected until the first day children arrive back at the program. In case of illness, payment is still expected unless other arrangements have been made.
Payment can be made by Zelle, check, or cash. Checks must be made for the dates on which they are due. Post checks will not be expected. There will be a late fee of $15.00 for each day a payment is received late. There will also be a $35.00 fee for each returned check. Repeated late payment may lead to the termination of a student in our program. Parents will be notified at two weeks in advance if there is an increase in school fees.
Parents and Guardians will be supplied with an end-of-year summary of fees paid during the year for taxes. This will be given to you in January of each year.
